DENVER - Girls Scouts in Colorado have something to celebrate - their very own license plate. In honor of the Girl Scouts upcoming 100th anniversary celebration, Gov. John Hickenlooper signed the commemorative license plate bill into law Friday.
Girl Scout volunteers helped collect the 3,000 supporter signatures needed before legislators carried the bill at the State Capitol. The plates will cost a one-time $50 fee, just like other state specialty license plates.
Girl Scouts of Eastern PA got a plate approved a few years ago. I believe we just needed to work with our state department of transportation. Anyone in PA can order one by going to www.gsep.org and searching for license plate.
Why can't we in Mississippi be tne next to get a tag....3000 signatures should be easy if we form a team since we have many counties and leaders to get this done so who is going to head this UP....I Tina Sager will be on commitee and who else????
